Согласно критериям государственного стандарта обученности по иностранным языкам школьники, правильно выполнившие не менее 60% тестов и тестовых заданий, достигли минимального уровня обученности, зафиксированного в стандарте, что должно оцениваться по типу зачетной системы: достигнут / или не достигнут уровень стандарта.

Результаты тестовых работ могут быть оценены отметками в баллах. Для каждого типа учебных заведений можно рассчитать свою норму выведения отметки на основе стандартной оценки.

Для классов гимназий и лицеев, где иностранный язык изучается углубленно, можно предложить следующие оценочные критерии:

“5” - учащийся выполнил правильно 90-100% тестовых заданий, продемонстрировав высокий уровень сформированности языковых навыков и речевых умений.

“4” - учащийся выполнил правильно 80-89% тестовых заданий, допустив некоторые ошибки и недочеты.

“3” - правильно выполнено 60-79% тестовых заданий.

В обычной средней школе оценочные критерии могут быть несколько ниже. Изложенное выше свидетельствует о том, что тест в учебном процессе можно применять и в качестве тренировочного упражнения, и как средство контроля. Результаты тестирования позволяют определять уровень обученности учащихся и выявить перспективы и тенденции в развитии образования. Методически грамотно организованное тестирование позволяет осуществлять обратную связь и, таким образом, способствует повышению эффективности обучения иностранному языку.

Приложение I

Тестовыве задания по лексике, грамматике и чтению, представленные ниже, отвечают принципу доступноссти и программным требованиям, предъявляемым к учащимся средних школ, гимназий и лицеев. Тесты не разделены по классам и не соотнесены с процессом обучения. Они могут использоваться учителем по его усмотрению на протяжении всего курса обучения (V - XI классы) позволяя выявить общие, типичные ошибки учащихся. Наряду с самооценочными тестами (“Test Yourself”), предложенными в современных учебниках английского языка для средней школы, представляется целесообразным использовать и проверочные тесты (revision tests), являющиеся эффективной формой контроля в обучении иностранному языку.
